Dark Patterns Audit Workshop: From Technical Diagnosis to Ethical Interface Design

The DemIA Chair is organising the workshop ‘Auditing Dark Patterns: from technical diagnosis to ethical interface’, a training session aimed at analysing and detecting manipulative design patterns in digital environments. Through a practical approach, participants will learn to identify so-called ‘dark patterns’, assess their impact on the user experience, and evaluate more transparent and responsible design alternatives.

The workshop will take place on Friday 20 March, from 4.30 pm to 8.00 pm, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Salamanca, specifically in the Sun Lecture Theatre. The session will be led by Covadonga Rodrigo San Juan and Ana-Belén Gil González, who will guide attendees from the technical diagnosis of these practices through to the design of more ethical and user-centred digital interfaces.
